PGE Turow - Asseco Prokom 63-93
Asseco Prokom Gdynia players cruised past Zgorzelec 93:63. Both teams made their first baskets of the night and after couple of minutes game was knotted at 5. After that Prokom went on a rally behind which they pulled away by 13:5. Jacek Winncki tried to stop it and called time out. It didn't help as Prokom was determined to escape from Zgorzelec with a win. After ten minutes of the ballgame Polish Champs were up 21:7. In the second quarter Gdynia picked up where they left in the first. Andrzej Adamek players continued to play solid defense which effectively limited home team offense. Michal Chylinski kept PGE in the game, he had 10 of team's 22 points. After two quarters Gdynia had 43:22 commanding lead. Donatas Motiejunas, Adam Hrycaniuk and Przemyslaw Zamojski had 11, 9 and 8 points respectively. Jerel Blassingame added 4 assists. After the intermission Asseco Prokom controlled the events on the floor. They played very ambitiously and didn't allow hosts to make a comeback. Many players contributed to Asseco Prokom Gdynia balanced offense and their lead was never threatened. Finally Asseco Prokom Gdynia routed PGE Turow Zgorzelec 93:63.
